TCAR KIDS

Our TCAR Kids program (infants through 5th grade) offers a community where your children can grow in faith and joy. We believe every child is a precious gift from God, deserving of love, respect, and guidance. That's why we've created these enriching kids' programs, where your children can flourish spiritually, emotionally, and socially with caring teachers to guide them.

Everyone who works with our TCAR Kids ministry is background checked and receives training on how to guide our little ones in growing in their understanding of a God who loves them.

  • Little Lambs (infants and toddlers) - Interactive play and Bible stories
  • Bible Buddies (age 3 through kindergarten) - Engaging Bible lessons, hands-on crafts and children's songs
  • Bible Investigators (1st-5th grades) - Dynamic Bible teachings, creative crafts and friendship-building

Schedule:

10 a.m.

We meet as families in the Upper Gathering Space for worship.

10:15 a.m.

After worship, parents are invited to take their children to TCAR Kids classes and return to the Upper Gathering Space for Joey's message.

We invite families to stay together during worship. However, if young ones need extra space to roam during worship time, our Lower Gathering Space allows families to hear the music and message from a live stream while their children roam more freely.

TCAR STUDENTS

Our TCAR Students (6th-12th grades) ministry aims to produce disciples for Jesus.

A disciple is simply a follower of Jesus. We want all students to know you are welcome, regardless of where you are in your faith journey. Our student group is very accepting. Our middle and high school students meet together to hang out, learn, and get to know each other better.

Depending on what is going on throughout the year, our students meet at different locations, including the Haynes' house, our youth room at TCAR, or local restaurants (this group loves to eat!).

We meet on Sundays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Join us at church at 10 a.m. on Sundays, where we announce where the student group is meeting that afternoon. Or join our student GroupMe to get all the announcements on your phone.

What does a typical student small group involve?

  • The first few minutes of every group are spent getting to know everyone, hanging out, and catching up on everyone's week.
  • We spend about 20-30 minutes discussing a topic together. We've studied various books of the Bible, talked about our spiritual gifts, and sermon topics.
  • The last part of the small group varies, depending on the day and time of year. Sometimes, we sit around a campfire, host impromptu worship songs, play games or eat dinner together. About once a month, our church community provides dinner so students can catch up over a meal.
  • We welcome students' parents to join in us for outings and Sunday nights when they can.
